Desktop SupportMSE Network Services provides full desktop support for all University-owned systems. However, we are unable to provide any level of hardware or software support for personally-owned systems. For these systems please contact the UF Computing Help Desk.
HardwareThis includes set-up, software installation, configuration, and migration of user data to new workstations. This also includes hardware troubleshooting and warranty issues. Please see our Purchasing section for information on how to purchase new hardware. SoftwareWe install Windows 7 Enterprise, Microsoft Office 2010, McAfee and various useful browser plugins on all systems by default. Information on additional software we handle the licensing and support for is available at Software Licensing Services. All software available on this website must be purchased through our office. We will maintain copies of the license and software for you. Data RecoveryNetwork Services provides limited data recovery services for University-owned systems. Data ProtectionNetwork Services provides best-practice recommendations to faculty, staff, and students to protect their data from theft and catastrophic failure by using regular backup and security strategies. |
